The Trompe-L'Œil Jacket and Jeans in light blue hand-painted cotton look like classic denim jeans; however, they are not made of denim. The optical illusion is hand-painted by an artist using oil-based paint on a cotton base fabric.

All details such as pockets, topstitching, holes, and distressed effects are parts of the painting.

The Trompe-L'Œil Jacket, together with the Trompe-L'Œil Jeans, require 220 hours of painting.
