The Long Patchwork Dress in black pleated and stretch velvet is from Balenciaga's 53rd Couture Collection. It is made in France.

This long dress is crafted from a patchwork of two types of black velvet: one pleated, woven in France, and one stretch, made in Italy. The patchwork assembly gives the dress an asymmetrical appearance.
The inside is hand-lined in black silk habotai. Refined aging treatments have been added by hand to different areas of the dress to give it a vintage look.
The Long Patchwork Dress required 120 hours of work.
The dramatic silhouette is accentuated by its long train and maxi length.
