Danielle Earrings in silver-toned brass paired with crystal rhinestones and white resin pearls are from Balenciaga's 52nd Couture Collection. They are made in France.
The Danielle line replicates an archival earring from the Summer 1967 Balenciaga Couture Collection. it is named after Danielle Slavik, Balenciaga model then and now, who was wearing the original earrings in 1967.
In keeping with an Haute Joaillerie tradition, each piece is entirely handcrafted. Stones are soldered individually. The earring is then refined with a cup chain linking the pin and pendant. Rhinestones are meticulously applied by hand. A galvanic treatment was specially created to match the original piece’s vintage feel. Two white resin pearls are added, in keeping with the material used at the time of the reference. Settings are finished with a vintage patina and light brushed effect.
Pin closures are designed for pierced ears.
Dimensions are 9 x 2 x 1.3 centimeters. Weight is 20 grams apiece.
