Rivoli Ring

The Rivoli Ring in shiny silver-toned brass paired with crystal rhinestones is from Balenciaga's 52nd Couture Collection. It is made in France.

The Rivoli Ring combines daring proportions with comfortable, modern wear thanks to openings on both sides that allow the fingers to fit closer together. Its manufacture presents a balanced combination of 3D-printing technology and Haute Joaillerie craftsmanship.

The technique is highly complex: large-volume, thin-surfaced parts are carefully hollowed out. Each model is made via 3D-printing. Brass is then cast, worked, polished, and refined, piece by piece, by hand. Each part is then meticulously rinsed and galvanized.

All rhinestones, about 650, are applied individually.

Dimensions are 3.6 x 2.5 x 1.4 centimeters. Weight is 32 grams.
