Amour Earrings

Amour Earrings in antique silver-toned brass and crystal rhinestones are from Balenciaga’s 50th Couture Collection. They are made in France.

This jewelry is inspired by a brooch from Cristóbal Balenciaga’s Winter 1967 Couture Collection. Originating from a seaside town, M. Balenciaga often referenced the nautical world in his designs. Here, an octopus structure recalls a heart shape.

Each earring is composed of 142 rhinestones mounted in pronged settings and requires approximately 20 hours of work.

Pin closures are designed for pierced ears.

Dimensions are 5.8 x 7.7 x 2.6 centimeters. Weight is 48 grams apiece.
